The second side is now bent with the mallet, and clamped in place. |

There may be some misalignment at the notch after the sides are bent, make sure both sides are clamped firmly. |

Cut both sides at the same time with a hacksaw, or cut off wheel, at the notch to align the edges. Recaulk the edges, and recut if necessary. |

Finish shaping the joint with the caulk. |

Spot weld the joint with the clamps on. Reshape the joint if necessary. |
